Top 10 in the Mexican Golf Federation 15 & under Ranking.
No. 1 in the Mexican Golf Federation 12–13 Age Ranking.
Top 2 elegible players from each Golf Association recognized by the FMG.
Invitations to eligible international players selected by the committee.
10 invitations to eligible members of the CGM.

Girls:

Top 250 in the WAGR
Top 100 in the Rolex AJGA Ranking
Top 100 Junior Golf Scoreboard
Top 20 in the Mexican Golf Federation Junior Ranking
Top 5 in the Mexican Golf Federation 15 & under Ranking
No. 1 in the Mexican Golf Federation 12–13 Age Ranking

PARTICIPANTS:

Players who have turned 12 years old by the first day of competition, have not turned 20 by the last day of competition, and have not started university studies are eligible to participate.

MAXIMUM FIELD:

120 players (50% girls & 50% Boys).
Eligibility for exempt players for the Gaby Open 2025 is determined by the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), Rolex AJGA Rankings, Junior Golf Scoreboard and the Mexican Golf Federation Junior Ranking, as of July 2, 2025 and will be used as the main criteria to determine eligibility.
Receiving an invitation or being exempt does NOT exempt players from completing the official registration process.

PRIZES:

Top 3 finishers in each division (Boys/Girls) will receive a trophy or medal.
Tournament Results will count for WAGR, AJGA and Junior Golf Scoreboard Rankings

AJGA PBE Points:

BOYS – Champion = Full Exempt, Top 5 = 4 stars, Top 10 = 2 stars, Top 50% = 1 star
GIRLS – Champion = Full Exempt, Top 3 = 4 stars, Top 5 = 2 stars, Top 50% = 1 star

Players must be at least 12 years old by the first day of competition, must NOT have turned 20 by the last day, and must NOT have started college.

EXEMPTED PLAYERS FOR GABY OPEN 2025

As of July 2, 2025, the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), Rolex AJGA Ranking, and Junior Golf Scoreboard (JGS) will be used to determine exempted players.

Players will be exempt if they meet the following criteria:

The top 2 junior players in the WAGR from each Latin American country
Latin American boys ranked:
Top 500 in WAGR
Top 100 in Rolex AJGA
Top 100 in JGS

Latin American girls ranked:

Top 250 in WAGR
Top 100 in Rolex AJGA
Top 100 in JGS

INVITED PLAYERS - GABY OPEN 2025

As of July 2, 2025, the FMG National Junior Ranking, WAGR, Rolex AJGA Ranking, JGS, and rankings from FMG-recognized Regional Golf Associations will be used to determine invited players.

Mexican boys will be invited if they are ranked among:

Top 35 in CIJ “18 & under” Ranking
Top 10 in CIJ “15 & under” Ranking
No. 1 in CIJ “12–13” Ranking

Mexican girls will be invited if they are ranked among:

Top 20 in CIJ “18 & under” Ranking
Top 5 in CIJ “15 & under” Ranking
No. 1 in CIJ “12–13” Ranking

Top 2 players in the 18 & under category (or equivalent) from each FMG-recognized Regional Association Ranking:

Western Amateur Golf Association

Additional invitations:

20 eligible players selected by Club de Golf México

ENTRY FEE- GABY OPEN 2025

$300.00 USD per player

Club de Golf México reserves the right to grant up to 10 complimentary invitations to eligible players. Deadline to submit names: Friday, August 1, 2025

REGISTRATION PROCESS

For INVITED / EXEMPT players:
Registration opens: July 14, 2025
If registration is not completed by July 31, 2025, the spot is subject to availability.

For all other players via JUNGLE.GOLF:
Registration opens: August 1, 2025
Registration closes: August 27, 2025

IMPORTANT: No refunds will be issued once registration is completed and the player is listed in the tournament field.

QUALIFYING TOURNAMENTS

The Organizing Committee may host qualifying tournaments. Information will be published in due time on JUNGLE.GOLF.

NOTE: The Organizing Committee reserves the right to admit or deny any participant at any stage of the process.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Individual stroke play – 54 holes

18 holes per day

A cut (approx. 50% of the field) will be made after 36 holes. The number and qualifying players will be published before Round 2.

CADDIES

Individual caddies are not allowed during the tournament.
Players are responsible for maintaining the course conditions.
Pull/push carts are allowed,as long as they are not motorized.

TIEBREAKERS

Ties for 1st place will be decided by sudden death playoff holes selected by the Committee.

Ties for 2nd and 3rd place (or if a playoff is not feasible) will be broken by scorecard comparison:

Lowest final round score
If tied: Holes 10–18 → 13–18 → 16–18 → Hole 18 → 17 → 16 → ... to Hole 1
If still tied: Repeat using the second round, then the first round
If still tied: Priority to the player who completed registration first
In the case of the cut, second-round and/or first-round scores will be used.

TEE TIMES

Will be published on the official GABY OPEN 2025 site and at the host club 2 days before Round 1.
The Committee may modify the number of holes played per day due to weather or course conditions.
The Committee has full authority over tee time arrangements.

RULES

The tournament will follow USGA/R&A Rules of Golf and local rules approved by assigned Rules Officials.

Will be appointed by the Organizing Committee and are responsible for enforcing the rules.

OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUNDS

Practice round tee times will be available exclusively in the afternoon on Sunday, August 31.
Available tee times for Monday, September 1 will be distributed throughout the day.
Practice round groups will be limited to foursomes (4 players) per available slot.
Tee time reservations for the practice round will be available through the tournament website (JUNGLE.GOLF) and will be limited to a total of 18 holes, ensuring that all players have the opportunity to play at least 18 holes.

AWARDS

Top 3 finishers in each division (Boys/Girls) will receive a trophy or medal.

AJGA PBE Points:

- BOYS – Champion = Full Exempt, Top 5 = 4 stars, Top 10 = 2 stars, Top 50% = 1 star
- GIRLS – Champion = Full Exempt, Top 3 = 4 stars, Top 5 = 2 stars, Top 50% = 1 star

NOTE: AJGA membership is NOT required to participate in Gaby Open, but IS required to redeem PBE points.

RANKING

Gaby Open 2025 will offer points for WAGR, Junior Golf Scoreboard, and Junior Golf Hub.

PERFORMANCE STATISTICS

During official rounds, players must complete game statistics on the back of their scorecards.
Stat entry is mandatory and must be submitted via the UpGame app.

TRACKMAN

Trackman radar will be available for JUNGLE Members during practice and official rounds.
Data collected will update each player's performance profile.

This resolution becomes effective on July 14, 2025, upon publication on JUNGLE.GOLF.

MODIFICATIONS

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to make necessary changes.
By completing registration, the player agrees to all published terms.
